my little man

It's been forever since I last blogged.  And I mean forever (yes, I realize I say that every time I blog)!

Well I thought it would be about time to update on Seth.  He is growing up way too fast to not take time to note some of the astounding and hilarious things he is doing at this stage of his life.

1)  His favorite things right now include: Elmo, yogurt, "go"ing anywhere (also his favorite word to say), the park, and Blue's Clues.

2)  He had his first ear infection the end of last week.  Poor kid!  He's had an ongoing cold that just won't go away and sure enough, it turned into an ear infection.  He's been on antibiotics and hasn't quite been himself all week, but he's feeling better, thank the Lord!

3)  His interest and desire to talk has increased drastically over the past few weeks.  He watches our lips when we talk and it trying to say much more difficult words.  His most common words are: Dada, car, cook, hot, dog, car, go, bird, car ... he has some weird love for cars!  Whether it's a toy car or a real car, he has to announce and share about every car he sees.

4)  Speaking of obsessions, Seth loves animals.  Specifically dogs and birds.  He loves them.

5)  Funny story: The other day I was in the kitchen with Seth and asked him to go find his dad, who was in Dada's room.  Where does he go?  Directly to the bathroom.  Guess Seth associates his dad with the bathroom.  Hmmmmm.  :)

6)  Seth loves to cuddle and tackle, especially someone's head.  He just curls up his body all around your head if you're laying down and hums.  It's rather adorable really.

7)  Seth loves to help me cook.  He wants to be up in my arms, stirring whatever is in the pot on the stove.  Super cute.

8)  Oh and Seth also has an obsession with reorganizing our refrigerator.  And boy oh boy is he a hawk on it!  The very second I open the refrigerator door, he's right there, grabbing the parmesan cheese jar and salad dressings and putting them on different shelves.

9)  Seth loves taking showers with us.

10)  Seth truly enjoys throwing things away for us.  I'm not going to complain!
