weekend activities

Oh this weekend has been so nice!  All three of us together again, being able to rest and yet be busy enough not to get bored.

Saturday we went to take pictures at the Picture People.  I got a great deal from livingsocial.com (if you haven't heard used them before, you need to ... there's some great deals!).  What would normally cost us $108, we got for $19!  That included the photo shoot and six sheets of photos.  Crazy good deal!  Unfortunately we only got printed photos and not digital so I can't upload them on here, but most of you who follow my blog will get a photo.  We had fun and Seth did a fantastic job at smiling and posing.  There's always the fear that he'll be out of control or crabby, but he seemed to enjoy himself quite a bit!

Then in the afternoon we went over to our friend's house for a BBQ with other young married couples from church.  Of course little Sethy went along as the third wheel, but we didn't mind.  He was a little fussy there, so Jack was walking him around their backyard when he decided to put Seth in their hammock and see what he'd do.  As you can see by the photos, he absolutely loved it:

Adorable, right?!  As soon as Jack put him in there and started gently rocking him, Seth was so chill!  He was just swinging, looking around at the trees and people, and eventually fell asleep.  We didn't want to take him out of there and wake him up, so Jack got a zip tie and tied the two ends of the hammock together at the top so Seth couldn't fall out and we left him there until he woke up!  Haha!  Once he was awake, it was time to feed him and our friend snapped these photos for us.  So cute!

Stinkin cute!  It was a great time with friends.

Then today after church we joined my dad who was in town to watch my brother play baseball at Menlo.  It was a gorgeous day for a baseball game!  We sat outside on a blanket in the shade, playing in the grass and enjoying the sunshine (with sunblock!).

What a great weekend!
